PlaceMaker Credits

PlaceMaker Credits are the in-app currency used to import the various types of data. This is how it works:

• FIRST you can try out PlaceMaker for free without purchasing a subscription (Pay-As-You Go).
• While previewing data, PlaceMaker will tell you how many credits are required to import it.
• If you purchase a SUBSCRIPTION, your credits go further as all data is discounted or FREE.
• Your credits never expire.
• If you purchase a subscription, your credits will automatically transfer to it.
• For subscribers with multiple seats, credit pools can be shared with team members.
• NEW in Version 4: The same credits can be used across all PlaceMaker platforms. Use the same credits to import data using SketchUp, Revit, or the Web!

Purchasing Credits

Simply sign up for a Pay-As-You-Go license (free) and purchase Credits from the PlaceMaker Dashboard after signing in.

Or purchase a subscription and purchase credits as needed from the Dashboard. Any remaining credits that you purchased with your Pay-As-You-Go license will transfer automatically to your subscription.

PAY-AS-YOU-GO VS. SUBSCRIPTION

If you have a Pay-As-You-Go (non-subscription) license, credits are required for all available imports.

Subscribers enjoy free OpenStreetMap building, roads, paths, water, rails and trees 3D imports. Aerials, terrain and other data are discounted. Compare Pay-As-You-Go vs Subscription.
